II. Description of Organization
Organization, Mission, and Goals:
The center is under construction. It is made up of seven areas, four of which are operational: museum of natural history, botanical garden, live animal expo and summer "safari" ecology camp. The three areas still under construction are: a specialized ecology library (nearly complete), laboratories, and an interactive museum of ecological skill. Our mission is environmental education, as well as the preservation and conservation of animal and plant species of central Mexico, research on these species, and lastly, recreation for visitors to our center.
