Organization, Mission, and Goals:
The mission of the Environmental Institute has three components: To develop innovations in environmental education at the undergraduate and graduate levels; To promote interdisciplinary environmental research that will enable Carnegie Mello to continue its leadership in developing new knowledge; and To foster a sense of community and develop outreach activities by bringing together individuals with diverse environmental interest both on and off campus.
