To prepare environmental engineering professionals to confront development issues relating to pollution and the deterioration of the environment.

Re-use of untreated wastewater in the Valle de Juárez (Juárez Valley). Financed by the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (National Council on Science and Technology, CONACYT). In progress, 1998-99.
